Britt Zuckerman is a nationally award-winning landscape architect with over fifteen years of experience creating thoughtful, nature-driven designs. Growing up in the woods of Litchfield County fostered an early and lasting connection to the natural environment, which continues to inform her design practice. Britt’s work is grounded in the belief that landscapes can cultivate meaningful relationships between people and place. Her portfolio spans ecological, public, commercial, and high-end residential projects, with extensive experience in New York City and across the United States. Since joining Dirtworks in 2016, she has brought a rare combination of technical expertise in design and construction administration alongside a refined artistic sensibility, including a strong command of hand drawing.

A Registered Landscape Architect and member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Britt holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University, where she graduated at the top of her class, and a Bachelor’s degree from NYU. She is a frequent lecturer, speaking on topics ranging from green roof design and accessibility to public space stewardship. Her research background includes several years studying New York City’s urban bee population, with a particular focus on colony collapse disorder.
